‘Alida’ was built by Gibbs & Sons on the Thames, England in 1963 to a design that dates from the 1930’s. The ship is all wood. The hull is teak/iroko on oak, the decks are teak and cabins mohogany/meranti. ‘Alida’ has two Ford four cylinder 56 horsepower engines.
